Interesting stuff
In the last few years, I really got into Podcasts. If you don’t know what a podcast is, imagine a radio show that you can listen whenever you want. I download them (they are free) and listen to these when I prepare my breakfast, when I walk to school and when I’m doing chores at home.
Podcasts are a really good way to get new information and listen to some English content without having to sit down in front of a television. There are a lot of podcasts out there. The idea is to find what subjects you like and there is always a podcast about this subject.
You can usually find these podcasts on the websites directly but it is much more simple to use Itunes or other media apps and download them on your portable device.
Here are two interesting podcasts that adults and children can enjoy:
- Radiolab (my personal favorite)
They talk about anything, from the science of DNA to a story about ice cream trucks.
A podcast featuring science and kids. Super interesting and varied
I will check around for more podcasts and I’ll add them on here. If you have one, come and see me, I will add it to the list. Have a good listening!
*** Update: I found this page where you have tons of podcasts. I didn’t listen to them but maybe you can find one for you!

Here is a very interesting website I discovered today: Reference.com
They have various articles about everything and anything. You type in your question and they will find you an article related to it.
Here is a fun article on double rainbows: Double Rainbows.
